MARKET ACCESS AFTER THE GOVERNMENT SIGNED THE PROTOCOL ON FRESH COCONUT EXPORT BETWEEN VIETNAM AND CHINA.

1. The Association introduced member enterprises to participate in the trade delegation for e-commerce and digital commerce in Zhejiang and Jiangsu, China from September 24 to 29, 2024 organized by the Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Vietnam Coconut Association has oriented the group of enterprises with deeply processed products and stable growing areas to expand the market in China through the digital environment, promoting the optimization of linkage chains and value chains of goods supply to the Chinese market. The program is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (the focal point is the Trade Promotion Agency), the Trade Counselor in Shanghai and the Trade Promotion Office in Hangzhou. There are 04 Vietnamese coconut enterprises including canned coconut water, fresh coconuts and some other coconut products participating.

2. The Association introduced member businesses to participate in the delegation to promote, advertise, and organize trade connections for fruit and agricultural products in Nanning, Beijing, China. from September 24 to October 1 organized by the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The delegation worked with relevant Chambers of Commerce, Associations, corporations, and businesses to promote the import and export of Vietnamese coconuts to the Chinese market. Specifically: On September 27, representatives of the Vietnam Coconut Association and the delegation worked with the Customs Department of Nanning, Guangxi and the China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Center. September 29, 2024. Attended, displayed, introduced products, and promoted the brand of the Vietnamese coconut industry at the Vietnam Fruit Festival in Beijing, China.

There are 03 Vietnamese coconut industry enterprises participating in the delegation with the main product being fresh coconut and communication tools for Vietnamese coconut with the theme of potential value Nexzero.

3. Vietnam Coconut Association orients the Chinese market through the southern provinces with the participation in the CIFBE International Fruit and Vegetable Food Fair in Guangzhou. The fair opened on the morning of September 25. The program is supported by the Vietnam Trade Office in Guangzhou to organize by the Vietnam Coconut Association.

September 27. Vietnam - China Fruit and Agricultural Products Business Exchange Program (Guangzhou). The program aims to exchange Vietnamese coconut industry enterprises and Hainan province coconut industry enterprises, directly connecting Vietnamese agricultural product enterprises and cooperatives to the Jiangnan and Guangzhou wholesale markets and some food and fruit trading enterprises from Kunming, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan ... China. with large corporations such as Pagoda Group on fruit trading. Kafelaku Group trades in food, beverages, and coffee. Kingold Group owns supply chains.
