51st COCOTECH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION, 2024 - 2327-2337
The international conference and exhibition of the coconut industry is organized by the International Coconut Community - ICC under the hosting or rotation between member countries every 2 years. This is a trade event displaying typical products made from coconut by the business community and coconut farmers of member countries. On this occasion, many conferences and seminars on advanced technology issues for the coconut industry are also discussed by experts and scientists.
The 51st international conference and exhibition takes place from 22 - 25 July 2024 in Surabaya Province, Indonesia.
During the days, the event includes presentations by members on technology and priorities for sustainable development of the coconut industry.
During this conference, the International Coconut Community - ICC also organized a meeting of the Steering Committee of the Coconut Genetics Network COGENT. The meeting included representatives of member countries of the International Coconut Gene Bank to discuss hybridization technology, preserve coconut genes in each country, and share experiences with each other.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ir. Joko Widodo, attended. Representatives of the Vietnam Coconut Association, Mr. Cao Ba Dang Khoa, Secretary General of the Association, Chief Representative of the Vietnam Coconut Association, Ms. Tran Que Trang, Vice President of the Vietnam Coconut Association, Mr. Huynh Khac Nhu, Executive Committee Member of the Vietnam Coconut Association, and many Vietnamese coconut industry enterprises attended.
